Since 2010, Connect-Abilities has helped individuals with disabilities and other life challenges build meaningful careers, greater independence, and stronger futures through personalized employment services and community partnerships across Indiana.
Connect-Abilities currently provide Vocational Rehabilitation Services in Clark, Floyd, Harrison, Scott, Jefferson, Orange, Switzerland, Bartholomew, Jackson, Hendricks, Johnson, Marion, and Hamilton Counties. Services may also be available in neighboring counties upon request.
Connect-Abilities also provides Medicaid Waiver Services in Clark, Floyd, Harrison, Scott, and Jefferson counties.
Why We Exist
Connect-Abilities was founded because we believed people with disabilities deserved better services, people serving them deserved better pay and treatment, and to foster improvements to the overall service system.
After years of working in larger organizations, we saw firsthand that too many individuals with disabilities were treated as numbers rather than people with goals, talents, and dreams.
We saw hardworking, caring individuals providing direct services whose work was undervalued leaving the field.
We believed there had to be a better way.

We try to raise the bar in our field by focusing on staff retention and developing quality services with our partners.
Participant-First Services
We focus on the needs of the Participant over program or funding constraints and serve are advocates first. We have the difficult conversation sometimes required to overcome barriers to successful employment with participants, their guardians/caregivers, and funders. We believe by trying to do the right thing under difficult circumstances, we will be successful.
Experienced Professionals
We value our team and understand that retention of quality staff is the most important aspect of delivering quality services. We work as a team and support each other. Our staff are the highest paid in the field and receive bonuses for successful cases and profit sharing. We offer flexibility and administrative support.
Community Partnerships
We partner with Vocational Rehabilitation, other service providers, and most importantly community employers. We view our employment partners as a customer and maintain a dual-customer approach, doing our very best to ensure they are happy with our services and retain quality employees with disabilities.
